Network Waitaki Network

Network Waitaki owns and operates a predominantly rural network, supplying the North Otago, Hakataramea, and Ahuriri regions. Our core business is the provision, operation, and management of electricity infrastructure.

The power network is locally owned by electricity consumers for the benefit of consumers. Delivering electricity to approximately 12,700 consumers.

As an energy company under the Energy Companies Act 1992, Network Waitaki’s primary governance legislation is that Act, the Companies Act 1993, and the Electricity Industry Act 2010.
