A nightmare from the start, wrong meter box used so wrong readings. I paid the bills and then I got a massive power bill from a completely power company. I tried to resolve the situation but my emails went unanswered and phone calls achieved little. I've now switched to Electric Kiwi who have amazing reviews. Get your act together Contact.

This is the first power and gas company ive had to deal with and what a terrible experienced. My god. Good luck getting through to them unless you want to wait 40mins. Also due some credit that mysteriously disappeared when we enquired about it. Just dont bother

The worst power company I have ever been with!!! Can never get a hold of them to talk to, wait days for them to reply in both watsapp and Facebook, then if you reply back you wait another few days!!! Very expensive and I cancelled with them and my final bill was incorrect which they admitted and said they would reverse and rebill. They didn’t and then took the full amount out of my account!!! They now say to look in my app to check the credit against my account which I can’t do because it’s a cancelled account of over a month ago... now I’m waiting to see if they will pay the money they owe me back!!! Don’t use Contact if you want high bills and NO customer service. I’m with Electric Kiwi now and they are fantastic, can talk to them immediately and my power bill is a lot less than with Contact. ...read more
